Red Carpet Fashion: 2015 Met Gala

It's fashion's biggest night!  The who's who of film, music and fashion collided for the Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art tonight in NYC.  Let's see how the stars interpreted this year's theme, "China: Through The Looking Glass."

Belle of the Ball, Anna Wintour, opted for a floral embellished Chanel Couture frock.

Bee Shaffer was draped in Alexander McQueen.

Poppy Delevingne looked gorgeous in a poppy (hehe) embellished Marchesa gown.

Diane Kruger eschewed a traditional gown and went with a Chanel ensemble consisting of a beaded bustier and trousers.  Hubby Joshua Jackson looked dapper in a blue tux.

Katie Holmes debuted a chic new bob for tonight's event which looked amazing with her midnight blue Zac Posen gown (she was also escorted by the designer).

Sarah Jessica Parker wins every single year!  The actress totally nailed tonight's theme in a custom H&M gown styled with an eye-catching headpiece by Phillip Treacy.

Lizzy Caplan channeled her inner Grecian goddess in this look by Donna Karan Atelier.

Tabitha Simmons looked regal in Dolce & Gabbana.  Get into that headdress!

Jennifer Lawrence was a bit of a disappointment in Dior.

Alicia Keys hit the red carpet in a two piece look by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Amanda Seyfried looked angelic in a beaded, lace Givenchy creation.

Anne Hathaway styled in a gold Ralph Lauren column gown with a twist.

Elizabeth Banks showed off her toned abs in a cut-out Michael Kors gown.

Allison Williams was perfectly in tune with tonight's theme with this Giambattista Valli gown.

Kerry Washington looked amazing in this custom Prada high-low gown.  The green heels and clutch added the perfect pop of color!

Can we just talk about Kris Jenner for a second?  The momager hit it out of the park in Balmain.

Selena Gomez went for a black and white Vera Wang gown.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked haute in Atelier Versace.

Once again Solange Knowles never disappoints!  The singer kept to her quirky aesthetic with this Asian fan inspired frock by Giles.

Also in custom H&M was Janelle Monae who, of course, was in black and white.

Taraji P. Henson went with a strapless, beaded Balenciaga gown.

Not sure how I feel about Chloë Grace Moretz in Coach.

Yes, yes, yes to Chloe Sevigny in this look by J.W. Anderson.

Vanessa Hudgens looked a bit juvenile in this jewel embellished frock.

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen went goth in layers of black.

Karolina Kurkova kept to the theme in a Tommy Hilfiger gown and Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Jessica Chastain was definitely one of my fave looks in this gold, halter neck Givenchy gown.

Amal Clooney was edgy in a studded bustier gown by John Galliano for Margiela.

Julianne Moore was also in Givenchy.

I absolutely loved Emma Roberts in this emerald green, one shouldered Ralph Lauren gown.

Kendall Jenner killed it in this beaded column gown with cut-out sides by Calvin Klein.

Justin Bieber styled in Balmain.

Kate Hudson was a golden goddess in Michael Kors.

I mean really?! Sophie Turner in this Burberry gown might be one of her best looks to date.

Maybe it's just me, but Sienna Miller's Thakoon look was more matador than anything.

Lorde kept it simple in a midnight blue Calvin Klein gown.

Dakota Johnson rocked a Chanel mini.

Claire Danes went with a belted Valentino frock.

Mother Madge donned a custom Moschino gown with leather gloves.

Jennifer Lopez went with a nude-illusion Versace gown.

I'm at a loss for words and not really in a good way about Zendaya's Fausto Puglisi look.

I'm not sure how FKA twigs' Christopher Kane frock fit in with tonight's theme, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Olivia Wilde looked elegant in an embellished Prada gown.

Reese Witherspoon was red hot in a strapless Jason Wu gown.

Zoe Kravitz went with a chain mail number by Alexander Wang.

Joan Smalls was regal in this purple floral embellished Roberto Cavalli gown.

Also in Moschino was Katy Perry.

Kim Kardashian has finally hit her Met Gala stride with this feathered Roberto Cavalli gown.

Lady Gaga went with an over-the-top Balenciaga kimono.

Cara Delevingne rocked a Stella McCartney jumpsuit completed with Asian inspired temporary tattoos.

Miley Cyrus showed off her svelte frame in a studded Balenciaga gown.

I'm in awe of Rihanna, who donned a dramatic look by Chinese couture designer Guo Pei.

Only Miguel could pull of this crimson colored Michael Kors suit.

Last but certainly not least is Beyoncé who snatched everybody's wig in a barely there Givenchy look.
