Red Carpet Fashion: 87th Academy Awards

The culmination of awards season has arrived with the 87th Academy Awards and the red carpet looks were just as fabulous as expected.

Emma Stone wowed in an embellished Elie Saab gown with a daring thigh high slit and long, sheer sleeves.

Lupita Nyong'o blew us away in a custom Calvin Klein Collection gown adorned with 6,000 pearls!

Jennifer Aniston's semi-sheer Versace dress fit her like a glove.  With its one-shouldered detail and side slit, this look was absolute perfection.

I loved Reese Witherspoon in this structured, off-the-shoulder white and black gown by Tom Ford.

Keira Knightley has struggled with dressing her bump on the red carpet, but she finally got it right in this gorgeous Valentino Spring 2015 Couture gown complete with scripture detail.

Scarlett Johansson looked stunning in this emerald green Atelier Versace number.  Get into that neck piece!

Jennifer Lopez looked pretty as a princess in an ultra-feminine Elie Saab gown with a plunging neckline.

Not sure how I feel about Lady Gaga's three-piece custom set by Azzedine Alaïa (which took two months to make).  Maybe without the dish washing gloves?

Julianne Moore rocked a custom, sequin-embellished Chanel dress.

I was a fan of Marion Cotillard's white Dior Haute Couture gown....from the front.

Kerry Washington opted for one of her faves, Miu Miu, and hit it out of the park in this elegant embroidered bustier dress.

Jessica Chastain opted for a form fitting Givenchy Couture gown with a simple slit and a flash of sparkle.

Rosamund Pike brought the heat in a custom lace number by Givenchy.

Chrissy Teigen looked gorgeous in a powder-blue Zuhair Murad gown complete with a thigh high slit and plenty of pearl embellishments.  John Legend opted for a simple black Gucci tux.

Naomi Watts always get it right on the red carpet, but this eye-catching Armani gown is one of her best looks to date.

How amazing was Gwyneth Paltrow in this custom, one-shouldered gown by Ralph & Russo Couture?

Octavia Spencer opted for a ruffled, off-the-shoulder Tadashi Shoji gown.

Dakota Johnson went bold in Saint Laurent.

Margot Robbie's black chiffon Saint Laurent gown left much to be desired.

Viola Davis played up her satin off-the-shoulder Zac Posen Resort 2015 design with a pearl statement necklace, a diamond cuff and gold box clutch.

Nicole Kidman's red belt looked out of place on her sequined Louis Vuitton gown.

Chloë Grace Moretz wins again with this strapless, floral print Miu Miu gown.

Solange Knowles kept to her eccentric style with this avant-garde look by Christian Siriano.  Who else could get away with wearing pants and a turtleneck to the Oscars?!

Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer coordinated on the red carpet with Anna channeling '70s glamour in a sleek white gown and cropped fur shrug while Bee opted for a floral print Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Rita Ora's navy blue Marchesa gown is most definitely Oscar-worthy.

Can we just give it up for Zoe Saldana in this sexy Atelier Versace gown just months after having twins?

Jennifer Hudson brought a bit of sunshine to the red carpet in this gorgeous Romona Keveza gown.

Kelly Osbourne met structure with delicate lace in a Rita Vinieris gown and Sophia Webster sandals.

Oprah Winfrey showed off her figure in a champagne-hued Vera Wang gown.

Jared Leto looked like he was missing his prom date in this powder blue Givenchy tux complete with satin lapels.  Of course the style star had to finish off his look with clean white loafers.

Giuliana Rancic was on trend in this brightly hued Mireille Dagher mermaid gown with floral appliqués.

Faith Hill showed off her new pixie cut on the red carpet in a long-sleeved J. Mendel dress complete with plunging neckline.

Zendaya Coleman also debuted a new hair style (faux locs) in an off-the-shoulder satin gown by Vivienne Westwood.

Kevin Hart made a statement in a white tux contrasted with a black button-down and bow tie.
