Red Carpet Fashion: 57th Annual Grammy Awards

The 57th annual Grammy Awards were held last night in LA bringing out some of the brightest stars in music.  Of course the fashion took center stage and we've got the best (and worst) looks from the red carpet.

Taylor Swift was perfection and definitely my fave look of the night in this iridescent Elie Saab Spring 2015 gown.  She added a pop of color with strappy Guiseppe Zanotti sandals.

Ariana Grande opted for a white Versace gown with cutouts, a high slit and chainmail.  She topped it off with white Versace pumps.

Beyoncé wore a Proenza Schouler black bead-embroidered tulle gown with a delicate train.  She might be in a bit of a style rut, no?

Charli XCX said she wanted something outside of the norm and she nailed it in this look from Moschino's Spring 2015 collection.  The pale pink faux fur stole, bright pink bow-tie and matching glittery mules sealed the deal.

Chrissy Teigen gave us under boob in this white Emilio Pucci dress which hails from the Resort 2015 collection.  Black (eek) Jimmy Choo sandals rounded out her look.

Ciara brought the draaaaamaaaaa in this ruffled Alexandre Vauthier Couture confection (from the designer's archives no less).

Gwen Stefani stuck to her norm with this Atelier Versace black strapless jumpsuit.  The asymmetrical top detailed with black netting and nude underlay saved this look from being a total bore.

Gwyneth Paltrow hit the stage to introduce her bestie, Beyonce in a sparkly red minidress and coordinating pumps.

Her hairstyle was slammed on the internet, but I loved Iggy Azalea's bold look in this Armani Privé gown with illusion detailing.

Jane Fonda joined the #BalmainArmy in a green jumpsuit which she styled with metallic Jimmy Choo pumps and a laminated suede Paula Cadematori clutch.

Jennifer Hudson looked svelte in a strapless Tom Ford number.  I'm loving her shoes!

Jhene Aiko went with a blush colored Alberta Ferretti gown.  I definitely feel like we've seen her in something very similar recently.

John Legend kept it classic in a gray Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo.

Kat Graham showed some skin in a Yanina sheer floral-print dress with Sophia Webster pumps.

Katharine McPhee quietly slayed in this sexy, cut-out Emilio Pucci gown with silver hardware accents at the bodice.

Katy Perry walked the red carpet in a sheer Zuhair Murad sheath dress with crystal-embellished fringe from the Spring 2015 Couture collection.  Sophia Webster sandals completed her look.

Kelly Osbourne showcased her curves in a form-fitting black-and-white gown by Christian Siriano.

Fashion's It Couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, came to slay!  Kim brought the boudoir to the red carpet in an intricately detailed Jean Paul Gaultier gown while Kanye opted for Balmain Homme.

Lady Gaga channeled her inner mermaid in this silver beaded look by her stylist, Brandon Maxwell.

Madonna looked like she stepped right out of her Take a Bow music video in this matador inspired Givenchy look.

Although her gown had plenty of sexy cut-outs, I was a bit underwhelmed with Miley Cyrus' Alexandre Vauthier look from the Spring 2015 Couture collection.

Miranda Lambert's basic black Gabriela Cadena column dress included a pop of color with hot pink straps.

Also in Tom Ford was Nicki Minaj who went with a super sexy beaded gown with fringe detailing.

Olivia Culpo wore a simple strapless DSquared2 gown while Nick Jonas looked fashion forward in a gray tartan Versace suit and crisp white sneakers.

Paris Hilton was on hand in a glittery gown with an illusion neckline and cutouts.

Can't say I'm a fan of Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh's looks from last night (both clad in Adidas).  Pharrell's short set was made of reflective 3M material.

Rihanna was the last to arrive and totally shocked everyone in this sugary sweet look by Giambattista Valli Couture.

Rita Ora shined bright in a custom Prada gown.

Man of the evening, Sam Smith kept it simple in a well-tailored black tux.

Sia, alongside dancer Maddie Ziegler, wore a black cape over black cigarette pants by Giorgio Armani.

Another of my least fave looks of the night was Zendaya Coleman who wore a striped Vivienne Westwood Resort dress.  Everything about this is wrong and I don't understand why her stylist continues to age her with these looks.

Last but not least is Anna Kendrick who killed the menswear trend in this Band of Outsiders pantsuit (sans shirt of course).  She pulled the look together with black Jimmy Choo pumps.
