Red Carpet Fashion: 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards

The 72nd Golden Globe Awards was held tonight officially kicking off the 2015 awards season.  Let's get right into the fabulous red carpet looks!

Jennifer Lopez might have been the hottest on the red carpet tonight in this plunging Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 Couture beaded sheer caftan gown, paired with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals.

'Girls' star Allison Williams was right on trend with this fiery strapless Armani Prive gown and Cartier jewels.

Amal Alamuddin, and her much talked about white gloves, channeled Old Hollywood glamour in a sleek Christian Dior gown.

Amy Adams continued to get it right on the red carpet with this baby blue Atelier Versace number.

Amy Poehler stepped out in bright cobalt for her big night playing hostess.

Camila Alves was a vision in this petal pink Monique Lhuillier Spring 2015 strapless column gown.  No complaints here other than the helmet hair.

Supermodel Chrissy Teigen was stunning in this sexy Zuhair Murad gown.  Being draped in over one million dollars in Harry Kotlar diamonds didn't hurt either!

I'm on the fence with Claire Danes' feathered Valentino confection.

Emily Blunt channeled her inner Grecian goddess with this Michael Kors's cutout gown.

Emma Stone eschewed the traditional red carpet gown for an embellished Lanvin jumpsuit.

Giuliana Rancic was all about the mermaid-style silhouette in this strapless gown.

Also in red was Heidi Klum who looked absolutely amazing in this one-shouldered Atelier Versace gown.

Was Jennifer Aniston paying homage to Angelina Jolie in this Saint Laurent gown complete with thigh baring slit?

One of my fave looks of the night was Jessica Chastain who gave me fever in this draped halter-neck Versace gown.

And then there was Kate Hudson who was white hot in this super sexy Versace gown.  Another fave for me.

I'm sure it's hard to dress your baby bump on the red carpet, but Keira Knightley left much to be desired with this ruffle-tiered Chanel number.

Kelly Osbourne chose a dark, moody gown with a jeweled neckline.

I loved Kerry Washington's look from the waist up, but overall this off-the-shoulder Mary Katranzou gown left me a bit confused.

Lena Dunham kept coordinated in a bright candy-apple red Zac Posen number and red pumps.

Lorde stepped out in a custom Narciso Rodriguez ensemble.

Naomi Watts went bold in this strapless Gucci gown.

How cute was Quvenzhane Wallis in this custom Armani bow-trimmed gown.

Reese Witherspoon shimmered in this liquid silver Calvin Klein gown.

Rosamund Pike, who just gave birth five weeks ago, could have done better than this ill-fitting Vera Wang gown.  I'm sure she's being trashed on the blogs tonight.

Salma Hayek had a princess-worthy moment in this white Alexander McQueen ballgown.

Sienna Miller opted for a romantic look with this embellished Miu Miu gown.

Taylor Schilling was almost unrecognizable with this uber glam look.  I love her keyhole cutout Ralph Lauren halter gown.

Tina Fey, the other half of the Golden Globes hostess duo, chose a custom made strapless gown featuring a tulip shaped skirt and decorative embellishments by Antonio Berardi.

Uzo Aduba brought the shine in this halter-neck gown and Kimberly McDonald jewelry.

Viola Davis wowed in this scarlet Donna Karan Atelier gown and Fred Leighton jewels.

I must admit I'm in love with Zosia Mamet in this two-tone, peplum-trimmed Andrew Gn gown.

Last but not least is Lupita Nyong'o who disappointed in this whimsical Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture gown.
