The 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was held tonight in LA bringing out some of the biggest names in television! There was plenty of glitz and glam as our favorite leading ladies rocked the red carpet in a sea of gorgeous gowns.
Leading the pack was Kerry Washington who debuted a bold new bob on the red carpet to go with her daring look! The actress opted for a strapless column gown with an underlying mini skirt by Prada.
I know she's probably going to get dragged for this look, but I absolutely love Lena Dunham's pink and red tulle confection by Giambattista Valli Couture.
Red was a huge trend tonight and I think January Jones killed it in this fit and flare gown by Prabal Gurung. Definitely one of her best red carpet looks!
Like her 'GIRLS' costar, Allison Williams also opted for Giambattista Valli Couture.
Angela Bassett looked absolutely flawless in a white wrap gown cinched at the waist with a gold belt.
Christina Hendricks always manages to miss the mark on the red carpet. This one sleeved Marchesa looks so dated and just has way too much going on.
I'm not too crazy about Claire Danes in this belted Givenchy gown. I think the neck wreath is throwing me off.
Gwen Stefani paid homage to the 70s in one of my fav looks of the night. Her Versace gown is made entirely of Swarovski crystals!!
Hayden Panettiere showed off her baby bump in a stunning Lorena Sarbu plunging neck gown.
Jessica Pare went with a strapless Lanvin frock and Christian Louboutin heels.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus hit the red carpet in a belted halter neck dress by Carolina Herrera.
Julia Roberts dared to bare in a sparkly Elie Saab Couture mini. Definitely a shocker!
I love that Kate Mara always takes risks on the red carpet and tonight's crystal embellished number by J. Mendel number was no different!
Kate Walsh was a ray of sunshine in her brightly hued Stephane Rolland gown with peplum detail.
Kiernan Shipka is quite the budding fashionista. The 'Mad Men' star went with shades of grey in this Antonio Berardi frock.
Kristen Wiig looked white hot in a Vera Wang gown that featured a thigh high slit.
Laverne Cox opted for a white Marc Bouwer gown (no surprise there) with an interesting scarf detailing. A bit too blah for me.
Game of Thrones star, Lena Headey opted for an asymmetrical hem gown by Rubin Singer.
Lizzy Caplan channeled her inner Cruella DeVille in this black and white Donna Karan gown.
Melissa McCartney donned separates by Marchesa.
Mindy Kaling looked totally chic in a Kenzo column gown.
I love Natasha Lyonne's form fitting lace number by Opening Ceremony.
Nominee for worst dressed? Sarah Paulson went with a black tulle Armani Prive gown that left much to be desired.
Sarah Silverman went ultra glam in plunging neck Marni gown.
Taryn Manning looked like a golden goddess in Jerome C. Rousseau. Very vintage looking!
Taylor Schilling didn't wear orange, but she did totally nail this embellished halter-neck look by Zuhair Murad.
Camila Alves left me speechless in this Zuhair Murad Resort 2015 gown which featured an all-over sheer detailing and skinny white belt. She accessorized with Brian Atwood heels.
