The Amber Alert News Roundup: Karl Lagerfeld Gets a Barbie, 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' to Gross $200 Million & J.Crew Introduces Size 000

Mattel is giving Barbie a high fashion makeover - the Karl Lagerfeld way!  The limited edition doll will be a part of Mattel's Collector Series and hits stores this fall.  Barbie will be decked out in Karl’s signature uniform: a pair of black skinnies, white collared blouse, black jacket, ankle boots, tie, sunglasses and, of course, a pair of fingerless gloves. The words "Kim Kardashian" and "video game icon" don't seem like they belong in the same sentence, but they just might.  Her new video game iPhone app, 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood,' is set to gross a reported $200 million this year alone.  With Kim's cut being a reported 45%, she stands to make a whopping $90 million - almost triple what she made last year! Popular clothing brand J.Crew has come under fire for recently introducing clothing in a size 000 - equivalent to an XXXS or a 23” waist.  A spokeswoman for the company defended the decision stating, “We are simply addressing the demand coming from Asia for smaller sizes than what we had carried. Our sizes typically run big and the Asia market tends to run small.”  What's next?  Negative sizes? (Fashion Gone Rogue)
