The Amber Alert News Roundup: Marc Jacobs Uses Instagram Models for Fall 2014 Campaign, Cara Delevingne Slams the Fashion Industry & Olivia Palermo Weds in Nontraditional Look

How cool is this?  Back in April, Marc Jacobs launched an Instagram competition to find models for his Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 campaign and now, here are the results.  Photographed by David Sims and photographed by Katie Grand, the ads feature real people that embody the boldness of the brand.  Look for the campaign to debut in the August issue of 'Teen Vogue' with behind-the-scenes videos of the casting and shoot on marcjacobs.com. Cara Delevingne fired back at the fashion industry after 'Vogue' magazine writer, Plum Sykes, called her out for falling asleep during an interview....not once, but twice!  Cara took to her Twitter account to set the record straight stating, "All I can say is that I work extremely hard and ‘sleeping' is proof that sometimes I work too hard. I apologize for being so ambitious."  She also called those in the fashion industry liars and complained that the industry needed to be more compassionate.  I guess that settles that. (E!)

Socialite and fashionista Olivia Palermo revealed that she wed Johannes Huebl over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends in NY.  The blushing bride opted for a nontraditional Carolina Herrera look consisting of a cashmere sweater, white tulle skirt and white shorts adorned with ostrich feathers.  Her "something blue" was a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels.  I would totally rock something like this on my big day!
