Red Carpet Fashion: 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards

On last night's BLUE carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards we saw everything from super cool grunge looks to ultra glam.  Let's jump right in and divulge on what the stars wore to this unconventional awards show!

Fashionista Lupita Nyong'o showed us that she's not afraid to experiment with fashion when she donned this Stella McCartney Spring 2014 long-sleeve playsuit.  A gem-embellished Devi Kroell box clutch and Casadei grey suede pumps completed her look.

Jared Leto was dressed in his standard rocker-grunge gear including a black leather Balmain Homme biker jacket and black skinny jeans.  He tied a Saint Laurent plaid shirt around his waist and finished his look with a pair of Saint Laurent boots.

Anna Kendrick was dressed in head-to-toe Christian Dior.  The actress wore a Resort 2014 frock, nude Dior sandals and a pink and black Dior clutch.

Paula Patton wowed in a bright yellow mini by Lorena Sarbu with a floral lace overlay.  She accessorized with Christian Louboutin pumps.  Definitely one of my fav looks of the night!

Reese Witherspoon dressed up her baby bump in a Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture design.  She accessorized with a Dior handbag and a haute pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Leonor Fini’ sandals.

Cate Blanchett took a chance in this Roksanda Ilincic Fall 2014 felt dress cinched at the waist with an interesting gold belt.  Cream colored Nicholas Kirkwood cutout sandals grounded the look.

Kristen Bell showed off her post-baby bod in a Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2014 strapless cocktail dress.  Christian Louboutin ‘Toboggan’ peep-toe sandals completed her look.

Sarah Paulson looked a bit matronly in a Honor Fall 2014 frock.  I do love her metallic silver Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps and Bottega Veneta blue satin, basket-weave clutch (which matched the floral embellishment on the back of her top perfectly).

I'm loving Krysten Ritter in this animal print Versace Fall 2013 bodycon dress and gold metallic Rubert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps!

Zoe Kravitz kept to her usual edgy esthetic in this Balenciaga Spring 2014 embellished off-the-shoulder look.  Love it!

Angela Bassett added a pop of color to the blue carpet in this bright orange ruched dress.

Octavia Spencer donned a look from her fav designer, Tadashi Shoji, with a strappy Prada sandal.  I could have done without the scarf.

Our fav fashionable couple, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves looked fab as usual!  Matthew wore a metallic bronze three-piece suite by Dolce & Gabbana.  I think all eyes were on those  attention-grabbing, cobalt-blue Tod’s shoes!  Not to be outdone, Camila was the epitome of chic in a white Juan Carlos Obando Resort 2014 jumpsuit and Christian Louboutin pumps.

I'm loving Keanu Reeves in this khaki colored suit with shiny black button down and printed tie!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt looked dapper in a custom Salvatore Ferragamo navy pinstripe suit, matched to a printed red-and-blue tie and Ferragamo ‘Tramezza’ lace-up shoes.

Jon Hamm kept it simple in a classic grey suit.

I'm loving Michael B. Jordan in this cream colored Dolce & Gabbana suit!  I also love that he always adds a quirky touch to his look, this time a fun printed button down shirt!  He added a pocket square and a pair of black brogues completed his look.

Rosario Dawson was a bit blah in this color-blocked Narciso Rodriguez number.
