Red Carpet Fashion: 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was held tonight at the Nokia Theater in LA and the stars were out in full force.  Check out some of the best (and worse) red carpet looks from tonight's award show below.

Rocsi Diaz might be my favorite look of the night!  The ‘Entertainment Tonight’ weekend host looked stunning in a Michael Costello cobalt blue strapless gown with a peaked neckline, central slit and ruffled mermaid hemline.

Maria Menounos looked gorgeous in a navy blue Zac Posen strapless gown and Jimmy Choo shoes.  That vintage Daniel Swarovski clutch is amazing!!!

Giuliana Rancic looked chic in a Mikael D cornflower blue strapless sweetheart mermaid gown with silver embellishments.  I love her hair like this.

'Fashion Police' host Kelly Osbourne wore a red silk chiffon Jenny Packham Fall 2013 gown with sequin and crystal embellishments styled with custom Aldo satin pumps dyed to match her gown.  Not really feeling this look but it might be the hair.

'Madmen' actress Linda Cardellini looked elegant in Donna Karan Atelier.  She also wore shoes by Jimmy Choo.

Zosia Mamet, another one of my favorites, blurred the lines between girly and goth in her Honor Resort 2014 gown.  I love the exploded, out-of-focus floral print but it's the black leather detail at the bust that really gives me that edge that I love.

Emily Deschanel wore a vegan, one-sleeve Houghton gown in a gorgeous slate gray.  She also went with an vegan peep-toe Aldo pump.

Zooey Deschanel went for a more sophisticated look than we're used to in an icy blue J. Mendel Resort 2014 column gown with a keyhole neckline, asymmetrical folded detail at the waist and thigh-high slit.

Kiernan Shipka looked super cute (and age appropriate) in her Delpozo Spring 2014 dress.  The back is really what makes this dress!

Dylan McDermott and Shasi Wells looked fab on the red carpet.  Dylan in head-to-toe Gucci and Shasi in Rhea Costa.  The back of this dress was to die for!!

Mindy Kaling wore an Edition by Georges Chakra gown with a Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Jem’ clutch.  I love the neckline on this dress and Mindy's curves are everything!

Jewel looked really pretty in a dusty rose (blush) colored embellished gown with side swept hair.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus kept it simple yet elegant in Monique Lhuillier Resort 2014.

Carrie Preston wowed in this pale pink gown.  I absolutely love the back of this dress!  It's hard for red heads to wear pink or red but I think she looks fab!

Jessica Pare is another one of my favorites in this turquoise Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 gown and Oscar de la Renta ‘Melissa’ sandals.

How handsome does Kit Harington look in his three-piece suit?

I'm only posting this because I'm pretty sure it's the worst look of the night.  Anna Faris is in Monique Lhuillier Resort 2014.  She's supposed to be giving retro but it just doesn't work for me....especially that hair.  Sidenote: please add Mayim Bialik and Amanda Peet to this list.

Elisabeth Moss dazzled in a black and white Andrew Gn gown.  I think she totally nailed this look and her hair looks amazing!

Christina Hendricks served up some old Hollywood glam in this Christian Siriano gown.  What you can't really see in the pic is a delicate lace peplum hmmm.

Cat Deeley looked super sexy in this black sequined cut-out gown with a halter neckline.  She kept her accessories to a minimum and let the dress do all the talking (as she should have).

Ok.....I so wanted to hate this Prada dress but I can't.  I think I love it and maybe I just hate it on Lena Dunham.  I'm sure this will be one of the most debated looks of the night.

Sophia Vergara played it safe in a mermaid silhouette by Vera Wang.  The custom red silk crepe and lace gown had her curves on full display.

Alec Balwin looked dapper escorting his model-esque daughter Ireland on the red carpet.

January Jones left me a little underwhelmed in this blush colored lace Givenchy frock.  I see this color was one of tonight's biggest trends.

Jon Hamm opted not to wear a tux and went with an ivory colored dinner jack by Armani instead.

Kerry Washington gave a little romance on the red carpet in this Marchesa Spring 2014 gown.  Just get into that tulle train!

I'm not a huge fan of Kate Mara but she reaaaaally rocked this all white J. Mendel Spring 2014 gown.  She looks edgy and almost futuristic.  I also love the shoes.

Heidi Klum looked like a haute dominatrix in this Atelier Versace Fall 2013 gown.

I love Julianne Hough in this ethereal Jenny Packham Spring 2014 gown.  She took a huge fashion risk with this look but I think she won!

Tina Fey rocked this figure hugging Narciso Rodriguez gown.  The cobalt blue color looks great on her plus the shape of the gown really compliments Tina's hour glass figure.

Emilia Clarke is already being hailed as one of tonight's best looks.  She looks absolutely stunning in Donna Karan Atelier.

Leslie Mann wore a chevron mirco-beaded embroidered gown from the J. Mendel Resort 2014 collection.  I love this!

Zachary Quinto hit the red carpet in black and grey.  Definitely one of my pics for best dressed guy on the red carpet tonight.

Derek Hough donned a black tux on the red carpet but it was his press room look that really grabbed my attention.  That jacket is a show stopper!

Let me know what you think?  Who totally rocked the red carpet and who was a dud?
