The hottest in the music industry ascended upon Brooklyn tonight for MTVs Video Music Awards. Find out who wore what and let me know who was totally dope on the red carpet and who was a huge nope!
Let's start with the ladies:
Rita Ora stunned in this feathered frock by Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2013 Couture. Although this look seems borrowed (*cough Beyonce) she is definitely one of my picks for best dressed tonight. I love the dress, the hair and the makeup.
Miley Cyrus in Dolce & Gabbana. Miley's look is becoming a bit stale.
Selena Gomez definitely got best dressed tonight! She was absolutely flawless in this navy blue dress by Atelier Versace.
Taylor Swift looked gorg in this bandage gown by Herve Leger.
Katy Perry rocked Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2013 and sandals by Celine. Not pictured: her gold grillz.
Ciara in head-to-toe Givenchy Couture. I was a little underwhelmed with this look.
Lady Gaga seemed as if she was channeling Morticia Addams in this custom gown by Prabal Gurung.
Iggy Azalea werked this gold Emilio Pucci Spring 2013 number.
Robin Thicke and his lovely wife Paula Patton looked great (as usual)! Robin wore a classic Lanvin shawl collar tuxedo and Paula worked a Lever Couture Fall 2011 embellished gown with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti pumps.
I don't know what this is but I want Jordin to try again.
Jennifer Hudson combined chic and edgy in Christian Dior. Kudos to whoever has been styling her lately!
Rihanna, who skipped the red carpet, kept is superrrrr casual in a tee, cuffed jeans and jewels. She managed to look completely bored throughout the entire show.
And now the fellas:
2chainz rocked vintage Versace... doingthemost.com.
Future looked quite dapper in Alexander McQueen.
Justin Timberlake was the man of the hour but I wasn't exactly feeling this look. He wore a Neil Barrett Spring 2014 monochromatic shirt with black pants and a pair of Christian Louboutin 'Gareth Zip' shoes in white.
